Nuno Indoor Plants specialises in supplying beautiful plants for small spaces. Core products include kokedama (moss balls), mounted staghorn ferns and a spread of orchids, planted terracotta pots, and Nuno’s exclusive facepot planters. Nuno supplies selected Spars, décor stores, local collectives, florists and nurseries. The team also accepts commissions and facilitates teambuilding sessions & workshops.
Sue Kingma leads the team, researching trends, sourcing and selecting plants personally, presenting them in predominantly South African-made pots and planters. This is in line with Nuno’s intention to source as much as possible from South African makers, thus creating as much local work as possible.
Nuno is passionate about everything green, eager to spread plant knowledge to all so that smile of plant happiness can be spread to more eager plant carers! That is the most wonderful thing to see: the smile on the face of someone as they approach some beautiful plants…or as they receive their new plant in their hands!
This is Sue Kingma’s 4th business, so she is a serial entrepreneur! She has worked in training & wordsmithing (scripting CVs), run a deli-mustard factory exporting to Europe & USA, managed a team of hand felters exporting unique items worldwide…and now she runs a ‘deli’ plant business!
